Got a set of 4 new tires put on my car. A few days later my car starts making a loud clunking noise and my car shakes... luckily I was right in front of a mechanic shop when it happened so I could pull it somewhere safely! Turns out that one of my tires wasn't tightened properly when the new tire was put on my vehicle. I don't understand how something like that was missed. Tires should be torqued properly with a torque wrench to the vehicles specification, and not with an impact gun.. I would have potentially ended up wrecking my car due to that! Will never take my vehicle back here again.

Hello Brandon, we would like to look at this in further detail. We have your purchase information and are reviewing video footage to ensure proper hand torque was performed on your vehicle. Our policy is to hand torque every lug lug before leaving our service bays. Please email us at [email protected] if you have more information to provide. Update (4/02/21) 2pm: We have attempted to call the number on file for you, but the person answering merely laughs and says we have the wrong number. We take safety to the highest level of priority. I have reviewed the cameras and your lugs were hand torqued by our service technicians. We are having our torque wrenches tested today! Update (4/02/21) 4:30pm: Great news, we tested all 8 torque wrenches with Snap-on, and all of them passed the test today. Please reach out so that we can remedy your concerns and see what problems you may have.

Been going to Universal for a long rime now. Great people, everyone working there are polite, professional, and get your car fixed at the cheapest price possible, they don’t try to charge a rediculous amount for their service, and have helped me twice now when my car needed to be towed to their shop due to a flat tire and other issues. I stopped at Universal Auto and Tire just out of the blue to get some new tires for my Honda Civic. I left there more than pleased. Great prices, great service and done in a timely manner. I'm a tough sell on most auto services but this place went above and beyond!
